Stressed Out

Okay, it has been about 4 months since I made a post!!!!!

I'm only in Year 7, but I get WAY WAY WAY too much homework. My sister is in Year 8, and she has less homework than me! 

My end of year exams are coming up... Starting 18/05, my end of year exams should go on for about 3 weeks because they are at the same time as the IGCSE and A level exams. It's like everyone just forgot about Year 7: "Oh yeah! We haven't had the Year 7 end of year exams. Let's just throw them in the New Hall whenever it's free!" 

I haven't gone on a 'proper' summer vacation for a few years now, but this year I am going to my favourite pace in the world for 3 weeks: Tioman. It's a small island in Malaysia. It'll take two days of travelling. Ugh! But I know it'll be worth it. 

I have watched all 6 seasons of Pretty Little Liars and I am desperate for season 7 to come out. I think it comes out on the second of June (the day before my exams end and ten bays before my birthday). Apparently, this is the LAST SEASON of PLL and there will only be 20 episodes. My sister, some friends of mine and I are dying to know what happens! Some other friends of mine ( ;) shout out to you ) have also started watching it and I hope they enjoy it as much as I do. 

I am having to revise everynight and I don't get much time for my own life... It's very sad. With all the homework, revision and desperateness as well as some trouble with my friends and some rumours people have heard about me, I think that Year 7 (even though it's almost over) is the most dramatic year ever! 

 Comment below if you're in a similar situation. I'd love to know I'm not the only one struggling this much. <3

PS: Ever heard of Ramadan (don't know if that's spelt correctly)? Well it's a thing were Muslims can't eat or drink from (I think - correct me if I'm wrong) 2:30am to 6pm. Well, yeah lots of my best friends are Muslim and my birthday will be in Ramadan until I'm about 16. I MEAN NO OFFENCE TO MUSLIMS! (I have had some trouble talking about religion in my Year group).

Lets Put Up The Tree!

"Okay, it's the fourth of December, lets put up the tree! No? Hmph..."

  Hello! As you might know (because of my lack of posts, sorry), I get quiet busy. My family also gets quiet busy. My sister has her play rehearsals, I have my homework and homework and homework, my parents are both teachers so they have to plan lessons, mark books/blogs (my mum teaches Media Studies), go to the gym (18+ *sad face*), etc. 

Sadly, because of all that, we have not put up our Christmas Tree! *sobbing noise* I know, I know, it's only the fourth of December, but still. I love building the tree! Except when the tree that's been boxed up for a year comes out with all that dust, making me sneeze like crazy, and the 'leaves' on the tree tickle you. 

But it if totally fun! Especially decorating the tree! 

    Hopefully we'll put the tree up today!

HOMEWORK IS EVIL!

27 - 11 - 2015

I can't believe how much homework I am getting! I mean, I'm only in Year 7! I think everyone in Year 7 has struggled at least once or twice with the amount of homework, seriously! 

But, it's not all bad. I've never had a detention (yet). Well, I did. It wasn't official, tough. In my English class (I'm in top set, btw) we have three mini lessons taught by the learners in the class on Wednesday, and in the first or second lesson (I can't remember) my friend and I got into a (pretend - not real, pysical, punching, just a silly argument) fight and I knocked over her pencil case, she then knocked over mine, which was OPEN, so all my pens flew everywhere! The 'teacher' came over and 'told us off' and gave us detention. We didn't go, of course! 

My clubs are cool. Every learner has to do three (or more). On Sunday I have under 13 (or under 14, can't remember!) girls Netball. On Tuesday I have Girls Swimming (a swim squad) and on Wednesday I go to a club with my friends. It is kind of like a 'School News' club, we've not made anything official. But we have made 2 promo videos and have a website (it is still a work in progress).

I will try to post more, it is going to be winter break soon - two weeks - and I'll do something Christmas like. I also want to link my sister and my YouTube channel: Little Things. Please watch and subscribe to that!

Year 7! :)

29 - 9 - 2015

OMG! I haven't written on here for like 5 months! A lot has happened:

• I have graduated from Key Stage 2 (Years 3 to 6)
• I have started Year 7 - and I have my own locker!
• Some of my friends have moved away
• (I don't know if I already told you but...) We are in a much bigger house! Woohoo, I have changed the design of my room 3 times since we've moved in!
• We now have 3 cats - all rescue - Maus (you know him!), Orla (the cutest little cat in the world) and Dobby. Yes, I know, an odd name but, she looks like Dobby from Harry Potter! 

I will try to post more, but I am super duper stressed at the moment. Jeez, I never knew I would feel this way! I am about 3 or 4 weeks into Year 7 and I have already cried (tears and all!) 3 times because of homework. Either it's just me being me, or we are getting too much!

England, Spring Term and more!

So, I know the last post was in December, and now it is April, but I have been busy. Here is what I have been doing:

January:

In January we received some very sad news about my Great Grandmother. She was dying. Two days after a Skype call with my Grandmother, my dad had some very exciting news. We packed our warmest clothes and phones and books and things because we were finally, after seven years, going to England! I was over the moon excited and it was a surprise visit, no one knew we were coming! 

It wasn't a straight there flight, we flew to Amsterdam and stopped there for a few hours before continuing to Manchester. 

When we got there it was freezing (and very early). We did all the bag control, money exchange and what not before getting our super, super small, red rental car. We stuffed our bags inside as well as ourselves and headed to my Aunts house. We made snowmen and had snowball fights, and sled races and had an awesome time. We  fed chickens as well. But I really enjoyed meeting my new baby cousin Freddy! He was born in November 2014, and he is SO SO SO cute. We kind of did a tour around England thing, because we visited my parents of friends, my mums dad and his parents (who are 92) and her aunts and uncle. We also did some shopping and I bought a R2-D2 bag. I also enjoyed going to 'The Kop' (Liverpool's stadium) and I bought a Liverpool jacket, which is SUPER comfy. 

We stayed in England for eight days and then got up at 2 o'clock in the mourning to give back our car and get ready to fly back to Qatar. (We left just in time because my Aunt said at around 4 in the mourning there was a snow storm! Phew!

March

On March 3rd 2015 my family went to see Ed Sheeren (one of my favourite singers) live. It was AWESOME! Honestly, he was amazing. He didn't just sing his songs either, he sang some big hits too. He even did a mash up song with Fancy (Fancy: Iggy Azalea and Charli XCX). I had loads of fun!

On March 11th I had World War 2 Day. My and my classmates dressed up as evacuee's as a fun activity. We made sandwiches, played conkers, made paper hats, painted Union Jack onto banners and played hopscotch. It was super fun - I still have my conker, and it has no cracks!

On the same day (March 11th) my Great Aunt and Uncle came to visit us. We picked them up from the airport. They stayed with us for 17 days and left on the 28th. It was fun to see them. We went to the beach with them, went to some Art and Crafts stalls and got henna and went to City Center and had an awesome time. I think my cat Mouse liked them too! 

April

 Right now I'm on my spring break. I have been to the beach, to Doha and around and about. I go back to school in 4 days. I had a two week break. It is going to take some getting used to, the school schedule.

Double Chocolate Cherry Cookies

Yay! Merry almost Christmas everyone! I hope you are as excited as I am! Christmas is my favourite holiday of the year! I love Christmas Eve, all the wonder of what your getting, with yummy Christmas dinner and awesome games and family. Even thinking about it makes me smile! Christmas brings everyone a little closer together. But Christmas is about giving not getting, kindness for kind, a present for a present, a card for a card and a smile for a smile!

So because my mum finished most of her work today she had some free time so she let me make cookies. I did it mostly by myself with a little help here and there though! We aren't in school yet so now we have time to get ready for the best days of the year; get my dad and other friends and family presents, put up the tree and make Happy Holiday cards!

My cookies started out as regular vegan dark chocolate chip cookies but ended up as super awesome sugary dark and white chocolate chip cookies with super sour dried cherries (my mums favourite). We usually add or change things in recipes since we get other cool ideas that need testing, and I am proud to say this one was a success! Happy Holidays!  ;)

The fox and the cat

Hi! I have awesome news;

On the third of November my family came back from a trip from Doha, and guess what?! At the second or third roundabout we saw a dessert fox! It was small and had big ears with a triangle like stripes. But the most amazing thing about it was it's eyes, they were shiny and big and black and red, a little scary, but a lot awesome! 

Yesterday (the fourth of November) we went to Doha, and collected out new cat! He is a White Persian Angora Mix with a copper coloured eye and a ocean blue eye. He is so cute! He sat on my lap and stood on my stomach. I also said, "Hi Five!" to him and he brushed his head onto my hand! WHAT AN AWESOME CAT!!!!

Hello! Today I am feeling a little ill, there are many reasons why; upset tummy, sore muscles, headache etc. So I am just chillin'. I have watched some videos on YouTube, played on our Wii and then checked facebook, gmail and more.

This is probably quite boring for you, so into the updates:

• My sister and I have still not started school, we don't know when we will be allowed to go to school but we all hope it will be soon
• During the Eid break for the school here, my family has seen our old friends; we went to Doha to see our old friends for when we stayed in Qatar 3 years ago, then the day after that we saw my dad's friends, sister's best friend and her family (we had loads of fun)

Living In Dukhan

Hello! Thank you for checking in with my blog; 'Smee's Bubbles'. Since I haven't updated my blog for a while now, I thought now would be a good time to do so. Lots has happened, so I have been quite busy with all the moving things to do like, adapting to a new house, getting used to my temporary bed, organising my room, making trips to Doha and more, I have sadly forgotten to update my blogs. 

We (my family) have lived in our new house in Dukhan for 4 weeks now, but sadly we (my sister and I) haven't started school yet. My Papa has started work, and all the other children in Dukhan are going to school as well, but my sister and I have to get ready before we start. We have had all our injections and our BCG's. I itch my BCG while I sleep. Opps. 

Well I am going to now have a shower and get breakfast now! My tummy is rumbling like crazy! Oh, BTW: our shipping is in Qatar, but not yet ready to stay in our house. So hopefully we can collect it soon!

A new start!

So our beautiful holiday in Tioman has ended and we have flew over to Doha, Qatar. Today is our second full day here and we are watching Batman Begins. 

Well, I need to get ready for breakfast now, bye :)

Jurong East Water Park

Yesterday my dad, sister and I went to the 2 dollar water park! We came in threw the back entrance (the car park way - we don't have a car) and it was hard, but we found. We also had some trouble with the lockers - but again - we managed. Then we went and got tubes (or rubber rings, however it is for you) so we could go on slides. Guess what!!!!!! They shut down the wave pool and lazy river! The wave pool needed repairing or something so there was no water in it, but the river was fine just not moving (because they probably shut it down)! So basicly the only things open were the slides, kiddie waterfall and lap pool. We used the slides, which by the way were awesome! There are three slides. For two, you'll need tubes. The highest is the blue (tube needed) and middle is pink (tube needed). The yellow one (no tube needed is the lowest and fastest. We had an awesome time. After that we went to J-Cube and me and Mathilda got a subway then we went to westagate were Papa got some Indian food. Then we had a play in the top jungle gym before having a peanut butter stack and drink at Starbucks. Then we went home and had a swim before getting ready to go out for a pizza dinner! 

Tips:

• When you go on a tube needed slide you should kick the water so it wets the side of the walls so you don't get stuck

• Hold firmly on to your tube (I slipped of once when it got stuck and my friend had to push it down)

• Take a rash top if you have a hole in your swimsuit

• 1 tube is 5S$, a locker is 40 cents

Charity

My most favourite shoes are going to charity! I have had them for such a long time! Here are the photos of my favourite superman converse (I call them superman super-boots, because I call all converse super-boots). Movie Day Out!

Yesterday lots of things happened. I really enjoyed going out and having fun! 

After lunch I lost my first molar-tooth. It bled a lot, as in a lot a lot. I had to use two cotton wool sheets to stop it. It really hurts, but I did get S$2 from the tooth fairy!

We went out to Jem Mall to watch 'Dawn of the Planet of the Apes'. All I am going to say about that movie is, I didn't watch most of it because I was to busy crying and it was a nice (loud) and sad movie. But it has a real good lesson! The lesson is (maybe spoiler) Treat Others The Way You Want To Be Treated. 

After the movie we had dinner (we we're still at Jem then). I had an Indian egg roll and a mango lassie. Mathilda had 2 plain roti parata with dale for dipping and a mango lassie. We sat near a window and watched men work with fire at the building sight. When the fire hit the floor it burst like a firework. We also saw a huge crain move - it was so close!

This week my family may find out our new school! YAY!

News Flash

Hello and welcome to my blog, Smee's Bubbles! I just want to say I have had such a busy summer - but its not over yet. There are so many things I have been doing or going to do, such as:

• Pack for my families 3 week holiday in Tioman
• Ship everything to the Middle-East
• Decide what clothes to bring

And more. Since we are moving we have to pack everything up. We go to Tioman in 2 and a half weeks and after Tioman we come back to Singapore for a bit without a house. So we have to choose clothes for Tioman and for after Tioman.

Poem

Today my sister was invited to a pool party, so she got 5 hours away from us and we got 5 hours away from her (this is not intended as an insult). My Mama and Papa took me out to J-Cube and Jem Mall. We did some shopping and then hopped mall from mall, J-Cube to Jem, then back again! I had lots of yummy or stylish treats like; 

• A chocolate soya ice smoothie from Mr Bean
• A warm caramel custard pancake from Mr Bean
• My very own packet of smoked almonds and cashews
• A new Star Wars t-shirt from Uni Qlo
• A pair of rainbow stripy shorts from Uni Qlo

They were all so yummy or comfy. I just want to say thank you Mama and Papa for giving those treats to me, I am very grateful! 

While we looked in computer shops for Mamas screen protector, I went onto notes and left pretty poems for anyone interested. My Mama and Papa took a picture of my second one, about someone worrying a girl might be late and fail it (I wrote 'it' because I am not sure if I was writing in the perspective of a girl or boy- I was the birds eye view).  I can't remember what the second one was about.

Oh Man

Today we when't out for a walk. We saw our friends Krista, James and Ruby there 11 week and 1 day old baby for a breakfast. 

I had a mix of asparagus, button mushrooms, baked beans, scrambled egg, potatoes and courgette. I also had a baby chino and apple cake with runny crème. My sister had pancakes with maple syrup and scrambled eggs, a baby chino and a chocolate cake with thick chocolate sauce. 

Instead of taking the bus home as usual, we walked home on the green corridor. It was really stuffy but we passed the time by each adding a sentence to our story. It got very random with elephants, bamboo castles, chezels, wizards, wishes, baths and more weird stuff. Then we stopped the story to enjoy our surroundings. 

After the walk we got to the mall and my dad bought me and my sister McFlurries from the McDonald's cafe. 

THen we went to the seventh mile coffee shop and got drinks and snacks. It started to rain and thunder, but only for a little while. 

When we got home we home we all got our swimmers on and jumped in the pool. I told my dad a story about a bear and jellyfish and then we all went inside were we made chocolate chip, cranberry and poppyseed cookies and watched Mission Impossible 4. 

Then I went blogging, and wrote this paragraph.  So you see, I had a busy day. Right now I just want to sit back in this chair and forget about everything...

School Again

Today Bean swallowed a penny. It was a new one dollar coin, everyone kept saying, don't worry, you'll poo it out tomorrow! Jeez. Also the Nexus 10 and under football team had its first, second semester match today. I am one of the teams mid-defender. We had four matches, first one was a loose, second a tie, third a win, and fourth a win. I was pretty proud since we usually suck. Well anyway, it sort of pays off from P.E, lunch and snack practise and sleeping in this morning. Maybe I should do that next Tuesday?!

The Holiday Is Over

Today is the last day of my winter break. I am so bummed about it. Well and the fact that I have to sing in Chinese, with a group and in a solo! But my Papa went out and got me and Bean a lovely Chocolate Burfi. That made me happier, a bit. But now playing on the computer makes me chilax a bit. So I need to just calm down. Wish me luck!
